Tucked away in Dunbar, nestled at the foot of the Lammermuir Hills, Thurston Manor offers a wonderful base to explore East Lothian's rugged coastline, head out for a fun-filled trip to one of the nearby attractions, or spot local wildlife. With so much to do combined with quiet, serene surroundings, it's the ideal spot for your touring holiday.

Whether you're looking for a touring escape for two, or the whole family, there's something for everyone in East Lothian. 

Pitches for a perfect escape

There are three types of pitches available for touring holidays at Thurston Manor. 

Non-electric Grass Tent Pitches offer enough space for a good size family tent on a grass base, making them ideal for a group or family camping trip. 

Grass Part Serviced Pitches offer a 14 x 30ft (approximate) space for your caravan, motorhome or tentbox, with electricity, water, waste disposal and parking included. 

Super Pitches also offer a 14 x 30ft (approximate) hardstanding space, with electricity, water, waste disposal and parking included. 

For days full of fun, relaxation and quality time together

Whether making a splash in the pool, trying out fly fishing or heading to the gym for a workout, there's something for all to enjoy at Thurston Manor. The games room is a great place to spend a rainy day, and you can catch a range of exciting entertainment in the family room. For those wanting to get out and about, there's also the Discovery Trail which will take you on a trip around the park to spot local wildlife. 

Hunter's Bar and Restaurant serves up delicious dishes to help you refuel after a long day, and you can enjoy a refreshing drink in Muir's Pub.

Our Location

Thurston Manor is located in East Lothian, just south of Dunbar. The closest beach is Dunbar and is only 7 miles (13 min drive) from the park. Other places of interest include North Berwick (16 miles/20 min drive), Haddington (15 miles/18 min drive) and Musselburgh (27 miles/31 min drive). Edinburgh is only 33 miles (50 min drive) away, giving you plenty of options for a fabulous day out.

Caravan, motorhome and tent pitches available at Thurston Manor

Thurston Manor offers grass and hardstanding pitches, with or without electric, and access to on-site facilities. Guests are welcome to bring their own awning with no additional charge, and there is also the option to book seasonal touring and store your caravan or motorhome on your pitch for the whole season.
