Exciting News - New Bar & Restaurant
We’re thrilled to share that our bar and restaurant are being completely revamped, with a fresh new look inside and out, plus an all-new menu we can’t wait to reveal. To enable this transformation, the venue is currently closed while work is underway. We will reopen on Friday, 6th March 2026. We’re working on a brand-new venue with a fresh look, a new name, upgraded outdoor spaces, and a beer garden designed for relaxed days, family time, and unforgettable evenings. A brand-new menu is also on the way!

Heather View is situated in the Durham Dales, just 20 miles south west of Durham, in the market town of Stanhope and 28 miles from Newcastle:
- Follow signs to the A1
- Take the A692 to the A68, and on to the A689 to Wolsingham
- Continue the A689 for 5 miles
- Take the left turn and follow the road to the park
